Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases from Lab Diamonds Direct, operated by Compact Packing at 16 Field Terrace, Riccarton, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand. Contact: owmferrier@gmail.com.

By using this store or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies linked at checkout. You must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information and be legally able to enter into a contract.

Products and pricing

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly between screens and production batches. Items shown in lifestyle photographs are not included unless the product description says they are. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Shipping charges and available destinations are shown at checkout.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order if payment cannot be verified, stock is unavailable, the delivery address cannot be serviced, fraud is suspected or a clear pricing or description error occurred. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount paid through the original payment method.

Delivery

Orders are fulfilled from overseas. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs checks, public holidays, remote destinations, carrier disruption and events outside our reasonable control may cause delays. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Returns and consumer guarantees

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return and refund policy. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

Intellectual property

Store content, branding, text and graphics are owned by us or used with permission. You may use the store for personal shopping purposes. You must not copy, exploit, disrupt or misuse the store or its content.

Third-party services

The store relies on third parties including Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment partners and carriers. Their separate terms may apply to their services. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the store or products. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, while preserving any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the country where you live or where the goods are supplied.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed when an order is placed applies to that order.
